Eastern Michigan Fires Coach

Eastern Michigan men’s basketball coach Charles Ramsey has been fired after six seasons. Ramsey compiled a 68-118 record with the Eagles, including a 37-62 mark in the Mid-American Conference. Eastern was 9-22 overall and 5-11 in the MAC in 2010-11.

Kent State Removes Interim Tag

Multiple sources are reporting that former Alabama head coach Mark Gottfried will be the next coach at NC State. Gottfried’s career record is 278–155 overall. He was 210–132 at Alabama. It sounds like the announcement will be made tonight at 5:00pm.
