Iona College will announce Tim Cluess as its new head coach Thursday. Cluess has spent the last four seasons at C.W. Post. In that time he led his teams to a 98-23 record which includes a trip to the DII elite eight two years ago.

Siena to hire Buonaguro

Gaudio out at Wake

Dino Gaudio has been relieved of his duties as the men’s basketball coach at Wake Forest.The university has scheduled a press conference for 4:30 Wednesday. Gaudio is 61-31 overall in three season since taking over for Skip Prosser.

Conroy headed to Tulane

Sources are confirming that The Citadel’s Ed Conroy will be named Head Coach at Tulane tomorrow. Conroy officially turned down the UNC-Wilmington job earlier today paving the way for him to accept the Tulane offer. Sources also say that Mike Rice (Robert Morris) was offered the job first, but turned it down.

One of the longest searches out there is still going. After firing head coach Benny Moss on January 28th, the search for his successor continues.
