The Lamar State-Port Arthur job has gotten a lot of interest. From what I’ve heard, there are close to 120 applicants to date. One candidate who I can confirm is involved is former Southeast Missouri State / Duquesne / Murray State head coach Scott Edgar. He has also been an assistant at Tennessee and Arkansas.

Jack Perri has been named head men’s basketball coach at LIU Brooklyn. Perri takes the reigns of the Blackbirds program after Jim Ferry took a similar position at Duquesne.
