Breaking: Central Michigan hires Keno Davis

ESPN has reported that Central Michigan has hired Keno Davis as its new basketball coach. Davis was the AP’s national coach of the year in 2008, when he was at Drake. He then went to Providence, where he coached three seasons before being fired last March. A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow.

HOT RUMOR: Baron a done deal at Canisius

According to multiple sources, Jim Baron has accepted an offer to become the next head coach at Canisius. Baron had spent the past 11 seasons at URI before being released last month. He is familiar with the Buffalo area – before URI, he was the head coach at St. Bonaventure (1992-2001) where he went 132-131.
