I can confirm that Tyler Sanborn is no longer the men’s basketball head coach at D3 Ferrum. Not a ton of inside info on this one – I just know that Ferrum paid us to advertise the open position (HERE).

Sanborn had been the head coach at Ferrum since 2017 and put together a 39-76 (.339) record. His best season came in 2019-20, when he led his team to a 15-12 record. This past season, the Panthers went 6-19 (1-15) ODAC.

Word on the street is that Sanborn took a position in the private sector.
