A couple things that I’ve heard…

• NC State’s Dereck Whittenburg has left his post as the Senior Assistant to the Head Coach/Director of Player Development for the Wolfpack, and accepted a position in development within the athletic department.  He has spent the past two seasons on Mark Gottfried’s staff, and was the head coach at both Wagner and Fordham before that.

• Northern Virgina CC head coach Sean Fitzmaurice has stepped down, and has been replaced on an interim basis by Michael Abdeljabbar.  I have also heard that Demetrius “Mookie” Felder will join the staff as an assistant coach.  Abdeljabbar has spent the past four seasons as an assistant at NOVA.
