Some things that I’ve heard…

  • Yesterday I mentioned the candidates at Delaware State (DELAWARE STATE SEARCH UPDATE). I have now heard from a great source that the mysterious 8th candidate is actually a current MEAC head coach. More on this search as it continues to develop.

  • I have heard that Erik Goldbach will be hired in an administrative role on Shaheen Holloway’s new staff at St. Peter’s. Goldbach is a former walk-on at the College of Charleston.

  • It sounds like Jacksonville University will hire Kyle Pugh as a graduate assistant. The Illinois native had spent the past three seasons at the University of Illinois where he worked as a manager for both Brad Underwood and John Groce.

  • I have heard that Chaminade University (HI) assistant coach Tim Bross has moved to the Mainland and become an assistant at the University of Redlands (CA). Bross had been at chaminade since 2016, and also spent three seasons as an assistant at Hawaii Pacific.

  • Cal Cistaro has been hired as the graduate assistant at NAIA University of Rio Grande (OH). He recently wrapped up his playing career at DII Concord University (WVa).

  • DIII Purchase College (NY) assistant Alexis Nunez is headed to DIII Misericordia University (PA) where he will become a graduate assistant. Nunez had spent the past three seasons on the Purchase staff.
