DAILY DIRT: JUCO Edition

A couple of JUCO head coaches on the move….

  • I first alluded to this one back on 5/15 (DAILY DIRT) – it’s now a done deal. Chipola College (FL) head coach Brendan Foley is headed to Buffalo as an assistant. In his 2 seasons at Chipola, he went 45-15 (18-10 this past season). He spent six seasons as an assistant at Chipola before being promoted in 2018. Foley also worked as an assistant at Santa Fe College (FL), and as a GA at Kansas State University for Bob Huggins and Frank Martin.
  • Long-time Olney Central College (IL) head coach Mike Burris is headed to the University of Indianapolis as an assistant. Burris had been at OCC for the past 20 years – serving the last 16 as the head coach. He has won over 250 games during his time as the head coach, including a 24-7 record this past season.

Both of these moves are expected to be officially announced next week.
