We had such a good response from yesterday’s Daily Dirt: Prep School Edition that we have more!  Here are two additional recent prep hirings that I have heard…

• Suffield Academy (CT):  Chris Smith has joined Jeff Depelteau’s staff as an assistant coach.  Smith was most recently an assistant coach at the nearby Salisbury School (CT) for two seasons.   Prior to Salisbury, Smith served as an assistant at Monument Mountain HS (MA) and also coached the Columbia Hoyas (SC) AAU program from 2009-2011.  After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Smith went on to serve in the US Marine Corps for nine years, which included multiple tours of duty in Iraq.

• Kimball Union (NH): I have heard that former Hunter College head coach Shay Berry has landed here as an assistant.  In addition to his time as a head coach, Berry also served as a DI assistant at Dartmouth, Fordham, and Yale.  He is a former long-time executive with Five-Star Camps.
