I have heard that there are three finalists for the DII University of Mary (ND) job.  The job opened when Jevin Budde resigned back on February 28th. Word on the street is that on-campus interviews are now complete and a decision could be made any day.   It sounds like the final three are:

• Matt Fletcher – Assistant Coach Upper Iowa Univeristy.  Just wrapped up his second season at Upper Iowa.  Was also an assistant at Kentucky Wesleyan, and a HS coach in Minnesota.  Played in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference at Southwest Minnesota (same league UMary is in).

• Joe Kittell -Head Coach Lake Region State (ND).  His team was 23-8 this past season.  Has won 42 games in his two seasons at LRSC. He is a North Dakota native who worked for Tim Miles as a student at North Dakota State,

• Kevin Williamson – Assistant Coach Univeristy of Minnesota Duluth. Has been at Minnesota Duluth for the past four seasons – was an assistant at Bemidji State before that.  Both are NSIC members, so he is familiar with the league.
