I have now heard from multiple sources that Florida Southwestern College head coach Marty Richter will become an assistant coach at Drake. The Iowa native has sent three players to Drake recently – twin wings Tremell and Anthony Murphy, and guard D.J. Wilkins. In his two seasons at FSW, Richter compiled a 56-10 record (30-3 this past season).

Before being named as the head coach of the Bucs, Richter served as the associate head coach at Florida Gulf Coast. He has also worked as a DI assistant at South Dakota and Bowling Green.
