Scott Edgar, suspended since the fall, has been officially fired as the head basketball coach at Southeast Missouri State. Edgar was suspended after the NCAA began to investigate possible major infractions in the Redhawks basketball program. The case will be heard by the NCAA in April. Assistant coach Zac Roman has bserved as the "acting" head coach all season.

The school is also in the process of searching for an AD. With the Redhawks 3-12 record, I would bet good money that the new AD’s first job will to find a permanent replacement for Edgar.
