Fisher promoted to Associate Head Basketball Coach at Western Oregon

 Bryan Fisher has been promoted to associate head men’s basketball coach at Western Oregon University.

Fisher in the three seasons he’s been at WOU (one year wasn’t played due to the pandemic), the Wolves have qualified for the GNAC postseason each season and are 28-26 in GNAC play over that stretch.

“I want to thank athletic director Randi Lydum and head coach Wes Pifer for their belief in me and entrusting me with this role,” Fisher said. “I’m very fortunate to be at such a special place like WOU and am excited to continue to serve our student-athletes. It’s an exciting year for our program and athletic department and I’m truly grateful to be a part of it.”

The Wolves open the season at the GNAC/CCAA conference Challenge Nov. 10 against host Cal State San Bernardino.
