Southern State Community College announced Kelvin Gaines as its new men’s head basketball coach.

Gaines comes to SSCC with coaching experience at Linden McKinley Stem Academy, SCPA and AAU teams.

Gaines replaces the outgoing Blake Kibler.

Gaines is looking forward to meeting the returning players as well as recruiting great talent to play at Southern State Community College.

“This is a dream come true,” said Kelvin Gaines. “I am thankful for the opportunity to become Southern State Patriots Head Basketball Coach.”

Southern State Community College participates in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

Gaines is looking for hardworking individuals, that place team above all.

The SSCC Patriots participate in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). Southern State CC Athletics includes, men’s & women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball and softball.
