Jeff Oliver Steps Down at Cal State San Bernardino

After serving the CSUSB men’s basketball program as a head coach or assistant coach for 19 years, Jeff Oliver has resigned as head coach.

In 16 years at the helm, Oliver’s teams won 20 or more games nine times, posting a 294-154 career record. Under his leadership, the Coyotes appeared in nine NCAA Tournaments, won six CCAA regular-season championships, two CCAA Tournament titles, one NCAA Division II West Regional title and advanced to the 2007 NCAA Tournament national semifinals. During this time, the Coyotes produced six All-Americans and three CCAA Players of the Year.

“Coach Oliver has been a passionate advocate for our student-athletes, while elevating this program to a national level,” Director of Athletics Shawn Farrell said. “Our men’s basketball team has been, and will continue to be, a great source of pride for the Coyote family. We wish him nothing but success in all his future endeavors.”
