USC Upstate head men’s basketball coach Eddie Payne has announced the hiring of Kente’ Hart as an assistant coach for the Spartan basketball program. Hart most recently served as an assistant basketball coach at Vincennes University during the 2009-10 season. Corbin named assistant at Shenandoah
Shenandoah Head Men’s Basketball Coach Rob Pryor announced that he has hired Allen Corbin as his top assistant. Vaughn College named Jon Hochberg Director of Athletics and Men’s Basketball Coach. Hochberg is the former head women’s basketball coach at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J., where he compiled a record of 106-39 (.731 winning percentage) over five seasons. Tusculum names head coach
Tusculum College has named Michael Jones as its new men’s basketball coach. Jones comes to Tusculum after serving the last 12 years as head coach at South Atlantic Conference member Brevard College. Jones replaces former Tusculum coach Jim Boone, who resigned last week after six seasons on the TC sidelines to accept a similar position
