Northwest Mississippi Community College has named Shane Oakley as their Head Men’s Basketball Coach. He had been serving as the interim head coach for the Rangers since Bubba Skelton resigned back on October 31st.

Oakley worked with both the men’s and women’s programs during the 2004-11 seasons but enters his seventh season working with men only and 13th overall at the college.

He led the Rangers to a 12-10 record this season with a short handed roster.
