I can confirm a Field of 68 report that Jamion Christian will be named as the new Head Basketball Coach at Bryant. Christian will replace Phil Martelli, Jr, who departed for VCU a few weeks ago. I mentioned Christian as the leaded at Bryant in the DAILY DIRT yesterday morning.
Christian has spent the past two seasons in Italy coaching Pallacanestro Trieste. Prior to that, he served as the head coach at George Washington (2019-22), Siena (2018-19), and Mount St. Mary’s (2012-18). He led Mount Saint Mary’s to two NCAA Tournament appearances (2013-14, 2016-17), and captured the NEC Coach of the Year Award and Ben Jobe Award back in 2017.
