According to a report by the Washington Post, Maryland assistant Kevin Broadus will become the next head coach at Morgan State. He will replace Todd Bozeman whose contract was not renewed earlier this spring.

Broadus is a D.C. native, who spent nine seasons as an assistant at Georgetown, and also coached at D.C .area schools American, George Washington, and the University of the District of Columbia. He spent two seasons (2007-09) as the head coach at Binghamton (37-25).

An official announcement is expected sometime this week.
