HoopDirt.com has learned former Canisius assistant Mike Iuzzolino will join Andy Toole’s staff at Robert Morris. Iuzzolino was not retained at Canisius when Reggie Witherspoon took over this past spring. He had been an assistant with the Golden Griffins for the past two seasons, and had also worked as the DBO at New Mexico. Iuzzolino had played for former Canisius head coach Jim Baron at St. Francis (PA) where he was the 1991 Northeast Conference Player of the Year. Following that season, he was the 35th overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks. An official announcement is expected shortly.
