New Central Oklahoma men’s basketball coach Tom Hankins announced that Cameron Henderson would be taking over as assistant coach for the Bronchos. Henderson comes to UCO from Connors State, where he served as assistant coach the past three seasons. The Cowboys went 79-18 during Henderson’s tenure and qualified for the junior college national tournament twice.

Terry Evans has resigned his position as head men’s basketball coach at Central Oklahoma after 13 years of record-setting success. Evans came to UCO in 2002 and finished with a 263-124 career record, becoming the winningest coach in program history late in a 20-10 campaign this season. He led the Bronchos to eight 20-win seasons
