According to a report by 14 News, Evansville has fired head basketball coach Marty Simmons. In his 11 seasons at the helm, the Evansville alum has amassed a 184-174 record. The Purple Aces were 17-15 (7-11 MVC) this past year. An official statement is expected tomorrow.
