Derek Spanellis joins the men’s basketball program at Wesleyan for his first season as assistant coach in 2020-21. Spanellis comes to Middletown, Conn. after spending two years with the men’s basketball program at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. Musical chairs with a few DIII assistants… Wesleyan assistant Tim McLaughlin has headed to Rochester where he will become an assistant. The former BC manager had been at Wesleyan since 2013 and worked at Wentworth before that. Replacing McLaughlin at Wesleyan will be Bard College assistant Max Sass.
