Atlanta Hawks – 3 Up BLOB

Baseline out of bounds plays with the same formation and multiple looks can be lethal. This set is simple. The shooting guard has to read the defense. If the defense is overplaying them, they can cut to the hoop for an easy layup. Otherwise, this set should be an easy way to get an open three-pointer.

Los Angeles Lakers – Horns Stagger Handoff

Running off of a stagger screen and a handoff makes life tough for a defender. This is a great set if you are either looking to get an open three-pointer or your star some space. Notice also what side of the floor they ran this on for D’Angelo Russell because he is a lefty.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Stack 35 Down

The Thunder accomplished their first option look on this one with the backdoor cut to Serge Ibaka. If that does not work they have Durant coming off of the Steven Adams screen to make a play.

New Orleans Pelicans – Hook Double Rip

If you are looking to get a big man a good look in the post, this set is about as good as it gets. This is a great set to run at the beginning of a game if you are the type of coach that believes in getting your big going early on to have them active on defense.

St. Mary’s Gaels – Horns TD

This is a simple give and go play that the Spurs have been running for years. The key is for the big man at the elbow to bump the guard’s defender when he pivots.
