HoopDirt.com can confirm that Yale head coach James Jones will add Tobe Carberry to his staff as an assistant coach. He will replace Anthony Goins who became an assistant at Quinnipiac earlier this spring.
Carberry spent last season as an assistant at LIU Brooklyn, and worked at Central Connecticut for two seasons before that. The former Vermont standout spent five seasons playing overseas before joining the coaching ranks. He began his career on the sidelines by spending seven years at the DII level working at both New Haven and Southern Connecticut.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
