Dieter Horton is out as the head basketball coach at Cal State Los Angeles.  The former USC assistant had been at the helm at Cal State L.A. for the past two season where he went 21-34, including an 11-18 campaign this past season. Before joining the USC staff back in 2010, Horton served as the head coach at both Antelope Valley College (94-46) and Fullerton College (198-124).  He reached the post season in each of his 14 years as a community college head coach. I have heard that the search for his replacement is already underway.
