It appears that Dave Bliss is set to return to coaching. The former head coach at Baylor, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and SMU will reportedly take over at NAIA Southwestern Christian (OK). The 71 year-old Bliss, who has won over 500 games in his career, has been out of college basketball since 2003.
He was given a 10-year show cause penalty by the NCAA back in 2005 following an investigation into his program at Baylor. The investigation centered on the murder of Baylor player Patrick Dennehy by a former player Carlton Dotson. He would replace Quinn Wooldrige who departed earlier this month to take the reigns at his alma mater Oklahoma Baptist.
