Des Moines Area Community College (IA) will name Chicago State assistant Brett Putz as their new head men’s basketball coach. He will replace Josh Sash who became an assistant at North Dakota State back in May.

Putz had been on Lance Irvin’s staff at CSU for the past two seasons. He had previously served as the DBO at Omaha, and as the DBO at Wayne State and St. Cloud State.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
