John Chaney passes away

Legendary college basketball coach John Chaney passed away today. He was 89. Mike Jensen of the Philadelphia Inquirer first reported this, and was later confirmed by Dana O’Neil of The Athletic. Chaney had led to Temple to 17 NCAA tournament appearances, and five trips to the Elite Eight, during his 24-year tenure with the Owls.
