McNeese State Dirt…

I can confirm that Michael DuBose will be named as an assistant coach on Heath Schroyer’s new staff at McNeese State. He had spent the past two seasons as an assistant at Chipola College (FL), and was an assistant at Southwest Mississippi Community College for two years before that. An official announcement is expected shortly.

NAIA DIRT: Tennessee Wesleyan’s Poe Resigns

I can confirm that Tennessee Wesleyan head basketball coach Mike Poe has resigned. He had spent the past fourteen seasons at TWU where he compiled a 251-187 (13-16 this past season). Poe was named Coach of the Year in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in 2012, 2013 and 2016. An official announcement is expected shortly.

BREAKING: Detroit Parts Ways with Bacari Alexander

According to multiple reports, including one from ESPN, Detroit has parted ways with head coach Bacari Alexander. Alexander, who had been the Titans head coach since 2016, was suspended earlier this season for seven games over a “personnel matter.” The former Michigan assistant wraps up his tenure with a 16-47 record at the school.
