What a wild Easter Weekend – Stallings to Pitt (Panther fans want to burn the city), Beard to UNLV (well done parlaying a 30-5 season into a better gig), and Dunleavy Sr. to Tulane (a lot of head scratching here).  I think the best hiring over the weekend was the one that had the least

A quick Easter Edition of the Daily Dirt… Kevin Stallings to Pitt is the hottest rumor out there right now.  I’ve heard from a lot of Pitt fans since this one first broke last evening…and they are all upset.  Not sure exactly why.  Stallings has won 332 games over the past 17 seasons at Vanderbilt,

Daily Dirt – Good Friday Edition – 3/25/16

A few things that I’ve heard as we roll into Easter weekend… With Zach Spiker off to Drexel, the attention has now turned to Army.  I have heard that current West Point associate head coach Jimmy Allen is receiving a lot of support for this job. Not only has he been on Spiker’s staff at the

Daily Dirt II – 3/24/16

The DirtKing is on the move today – here’s a very quick second version of the Daily Dirt… Donyell Marshall’s name has been hot lately.  The longtime NBA player and current Buffalo assistant had been rumored to be joining Steve Pikiell’s staff at Rutgers (not happening), and has interviewed at Central Connecticut. Yesterday, I mentioned

Daily Dirt – 3/24/16

A few things to start the day… On Monday, I mentioned some candidates to replace Eric Reveno at Portland.  I have now also heard Columbia head coach Kyle Smith’s name mentioned here.  His team is currently 23-10 and still playing in the CIT.  He knows the WCC – he spent nine seasons at St. Mary’s
