Louisville assistant coach Ralph Willard is stepping down and will assume the position of Director of Basketball Operations. Current DBO Mark Lieberman will be elevated to assistant coach to replace Willard. No word yet on whether Willard will still be paid $375,000 or if he will make the $50,000 that the DBO makes. It is
What’s the deal at Indian River?

CBSSports.com’s Doyel calls for Pearl’s head
Interesting article here by CBSSports.com’s Greg Doyel. Much has been made of the Bruce Pearl situation, and Doyel makes some good points – I can’t say I disagree with him. Pearl is a great coach, and an even better personality, but he got caught! I’m very curious as to how this will play out –

I can confirm that Jacksonville JC (TX) has hired former Colorado DBO Jody Bailey as their new head coach. He replaces Cinco Boone who took an assistants job at Stephen F. Austin. Bailey is an up-and-comer in the business and will definitely work hard to get it done in a JC power conference. I’ve heard
