The Hartford Courant is the first to report, and HoopDirt.com can now confirm the final three candidates in the search at Central Connecticut.  They are:

Jay Young – Associate head coach Stony Brook.  CCSU AD Paul Schlickmann was the former associate at at Stony Brook.

Patrick Sellers – Assistant coach DePaul.  Former player and assistant coach at CCSU.

Donyell Marshall – Assistant Coach Buffalo.  Played at UConn (recently retired CCSU head coach Howie Dickenman was an assistant at UConn when Marshall was a player there), also played in the NBA from 1994-2009.

The final three was pared down from a group of seven who had in person interviews at a local hotel meeting room which began on 3/23.  The others who interviewed were; Providence associate head coach Andre LaFleur, St. Bonaventure assistant coach Steve Curran, Iona associate head coach Jared Grasso, and Seton Hall associate head coach Shaheen Holloway.

It sounds like this one could be wrapped up in the next day or so.
