Dory Hines is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at D2 University of Mount Olive (NC). He has been replaced on an interim basis by assistant coach Zach Grant.

Hines was hired back in April 2020 at UMO, following a stint as an assistant at league foe Pembroke. In his only season at his alma mater, Hines went 13-18 (9-11).

Grant was hired as an assistant by Hines last season. He played at Barton College (2015-19) and served as a GA for the men’s program, and an assistant for the women’s program at Lander following his graduation.
