DK and crew still on the go in Montreal – a few quick ones that I’ve heard while bouncing around between Basilicas…

• I mentioned back on 4/2 that former Kentucky head coach Billy Gillispie would be the new head coach at Ranger JC (TX) (Billy Gillispie Dirt…).  It is now a done deal – he has officially replaced former NBA player Robert Reid at Ranger.  

• Drake has hired Chris McMahon as their new video coordinator.  He was most recently a HS coach in Iowa.

• Hot name at Virginia Union right now is Lester Butler.  He is a VUU alum who has been the head women’s coach at the University of the District of Columbia for the past ten seasons.

• The search at Chesapeake College (MD) is winding down.  I have heard that there are 3-4 finalists.  I have heard one of them is Ben McDonald, the current post grad coach at Combine Academy in Charlotte.
