A bunch of things that I’ve heard so far today…

• I can confirm that recently fired Kennesaw State head coach Jimmy Lallathin will become the head coach at St. Xavier HS in Cincinnati.  Lallathin spent the last year and half as the head coach at Kennesaw State.  He was an assistant at KSU before he became the interim head coach mid-way through the 2013-14 season.  Former Boston College and URI head coach Al Skinner recently replaced him at Kennesaw State.

• Last week, I mentioned that South Georgia State head coach Cory Baldwin was a “hot” name at Clayton State (Daily Dirt – 4/24/15).  I have now heard another name on the radar there is Thomas University (GA) head coach Stephen Cox.  Like Baldwin, he is also a Clayton State Alum.  Before coming to TU, Cox was an assistant at Savannah State, Mercer, and Santa Fe CC.

• Zach Towle has been promoted to the top assistant at Northeast CC (NE).  He takes Adam Blaylock’s spot on Dan Anderson’s staff – Blaylock recently became an assistant at Panola College (TX).  Towle has been on the staff at Northeast for the past two years – he also played there.
