Daily Dirt – 6/5/23

Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)

A few things to start the week…

I have heard that Toledo DBO Stevie Taylor is on the move, and will land at as the assistant director of player development at Iowa State. Taylor had been at Toledo for the past two years, and has also worked as an assistant at Nicholls State and a GA at Boston College.

I have heard from multiple sources that Eastern Washington intends to hire Donald Brady as an assistant coach. Brady was named as the NWAC Coach of the Year this past season after leading his team to the NWAC Championship (23-9).

I have heard that Colin Daly has been hired in an ops role at NC A&T. Daly was most recently at Temple, where new A&T head coach Monte Ross worked last season as the associate head coach. No official announcement on the A&T staff yet, but I’ve already mentioned that assistants Jeff Rafferty (DD 4/19), Ricky Moore, and Dorian Long (DD 6/1) have already been hired. More on these once they become official.

In case you missed it from earlier today…UC San Diego assistant Nick Booker will be named as the head coach at D2 Cal State San Marcos. More on that one HERE.

Dirt from this weekend…interesting moves, ad two Louisiana JUCO’s open. More HERE.
