Another crazy day in the college basketball coaching world. Here’s a few quick things in part II of the Daily Dirt…
- A “hot” name making the rounds right now is IPFW head coach Jon Coffman. He’s coming off a great season – 24-10 with an NIT apperance, and is now being mentioned at both Wright State and James Madison. Last season, his first as the head coach at IPFW, his Mastodons went 16-15 and played in the CollegeInsider.com post-season tournament.
- Speaking of Wright State…I have to correct myself from earlier today. I mentioned in the first edition of the Daily Dirt that AD Bob Grant was running the search to replace Billy Donlon by himself. I now have confirmation that he has hired Eddie Fogler to help.
- Quick Central Connecticut update…I have heard that Stony Brook associate head coach Jay Young has spoken with AD Paul Schlickmann. I have also heard that DePaul assistant (and Central Connecticut alum) Patrick Sellers is involved here. I also mentioned Providence Associate Head Coach Andre LaFleur’s involvement at CCSU last week (Daily Dirt – 3/16/16).
I’ve been doing this for a while…got a feeling we’ll have a DDIII later tonight. Stay tuned…
