Daily Dirt: SATURDAY EDITION – 9/29/18

A couple quick things on a Saturday morning…

  • I mentioned last week that College of Charleston assistant Matt Braeuer is headed to North Texas. This move has kicked off a bit of a chain reaction as practice gets under way. Earl Grant has promoted DBO Mantoris Robinson to assistant coach replacing Braeuer (Robinson is now officially listed as an assistant on the website). The next move will be the announcement of Furman assistant Trey Meyer being added to the College of Charleston staff. He will step in to the role vacated by Robinson. This leaves Furman now searching for an assistant. More as I hear it.

  • Former Seton Hall assistant coach Fred Hill is the hot name at DIII Kean University (NJ). The coaching veteran, and NJ native, stepped away from the Pirates staff this past summer. Hill has also been an assistant at Northwestern, Rutgers, Villanova, Marquette, FDU, and Maine. Sounds like Kean wants a coach in place this week.
