New Emmanuel College men’s basketball coach Danny Lawson has added Tell White and Dan Holbrook to his staff.
White completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Endicott College while leading the basketball program as a captain for the 2014-2015 academic year. He then served as an Assistant Coach at his alma mater for the 2015-2016 basketball season.
Over the past two years, White served as a Player Development Intern for the Dallas Mavericks and the Associate Head Coach at Huron High School. As an intern, White worked with the coaching staff during the preseason to help analyze plays and rotations and was responsible for developing scouting reports on NBA players. As the Associate Head Coach, White helped lead Huron High to become the runner up in the Class A Southeastern Conference.
White currently resides on the Emmanuel College campus in Boston, MA serving as the Assistant Residence Director Graduate Assistant.
Holbrook completed his Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth while leading the basketball program as a captain and All-American in 2008. Daniel then went on to complete his Dual Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Markets from Bentley University in 2011. During his time at Bentley, Holbrook was also an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball program.
In the professional realm, Holbrook has experience throughout the financial and management sectors. Daniel currently is an Adjunct Professor in Economics at various institutions and is the founder of Five Star Flag Football. Five Star Flag Football is an affiliate of the NFL whose mission is to provide flag football to children to improve leadership, confidence and teamwork skills.
