The University of Mount Olive has officially removed the interim tag from head basketball coach Zach Grant, and named him to the position on a permanent basis.
Grant took over for Dory Hines at the end of September after a late change was made. He had been an assistant on the UMO staff for one season, and served as a GA for the men’s program, and an assistant for the women’s program at Lander before that.
Mount Olive is currently 6-18 (5-9 Conference Carolinas).
