Claflin University has made the decision to change the leadership of its men’s basketball program, effective immediately. The program will move forward in a new direction following the release of Dr. Ricky Jackson as its head coach.  

Jackson had spent the past eight seasons as the head coach at Claflin where he went 120-113 (.515). This past season, his team went 7-20 (6-10 CIAA).
 
Claflin University will begin a nationwide search for a new men’s basketball head coach immediately.
