Some things that I’ve heard from the JC’s…

• I have heard that Gabe Palmquist-Clark will be named as an assistant coach at Kilgore College (TX). He spent last season as an assistant at Western Oregon, and has also worked at Holy Names University (CA).

• Some staff changes at Lamar CC (CO): Assistants Jeff Dolan (accepted an assistant coach position at Glenville State – Daily Dirt – 8/5/16) and Jaime Bencomo (pursuing a different career other than coaching) have left the staff. Rian Stubbs and Chris Myers have been hired as their replacements. Stubbs has coached at Clarendon College (TX) and Hardin Simmons (TX) for past several years. Myers has been the director/head coach at Oklahoma Impact AAU for the past six years and has coached at Seminole State for one season.

• Andre Bell is returning to the staff at Moberly Area CC (MO) as an assistant coach. He had spent the past two seasons coaching HS basketball in Chicago. Bell was on Patrcik Smith’s staff at MACC from 2012-14, and had also worked as an assistant to Smith at Trinity Valley CC (TX).
