The search at McNeese State is coming to an end. I have heard that there are five finalists for the job.

I reported in the Daily Dirt on 3/9 that BYU associate head coach Heath Schroyer, LSU Alexandria head coach Larry Cordaro, and Northwestern State assistant Jeff Moore were all involved. In this weekend’s DIRT, I mentioned that Wichita State assistant Isaac Brown was also in the mix. Finally, today, I can confirm that local HS coach Rick LeBato is the fifth finalist.

Multiple sources have told me that this search could be wrapped up with in the next 24 hours, and that Schroyer is the leader. More on this one as I hear it.
