REPORT: Bart Lundy to Milwaukee

According to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Bart Lundy has been hired as the new basketball coach at UW Milwaukee.

Lundy was mentioned as a finalist by HoopDirt.com back on 3/9 (Daily Dirt). The veteran head coach has had two stints at Queens University of Charlotte – 1998-03 and 2013-22. He has put together a 333-103 (.764) record during time at the school. He also spent 6 seasons as the head coach at D1 High Point, where he went 96-87 (.525).

Lundy is also familiar with the area as he spent 2009-12 as the DBO at Marquette under Buzz Williams.

Other finalists for the job included: JR Blount (assistant coach Iowa State), Andy Bronkema (head coach Ferris State), Stan Gouard (head coach Southern Indiana), Ben McCollum (head coach Northwest Missouri State), Saul Phillips (head coach Northern State), Jason Shay (assistant coach Wake Forest), Fred Watson (head coach Miles College).
