Ayers departs Notre Dame Men’s Basketball Staff

Notre Dame has released the following statement regarding the men’s basketball staff: Ayers had been on Mike Brey’s staff for the past four seasons, and was an assistant at Bucknell for two seasons before that. Mike Brey Adds Ryan Ayers to Staff at Notre Dame

Ryan Ayers, a 2009 Notre Dame graduate and sharp-shooting guard for the Fighting Irish, has returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach on Mike Brey’s staff. Ayers is the second former Brey player and team captain added to the men’s basketball coaching staff in the last two weeks joining 2002 graduate Ryan Humphrey.
