OFFICIAL: LSU names Will Wade Head Basketball Coach

LSU has just released the following statement in response to the multiple internet reports tonight: Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva has announced former Virginia Commonwealth University head basketball coach Will Wade will lead the LSU basketball program as its new head coach. Multiple sources are now reporting that former Shaka Smart assistant and current Chattanooga head coach Will Wade will become the new head coach at VCU. Wade went 40-25 in two seasons at UTC, including a 22-10 mark this past season. More on this as it becomes official.
