Central Penn College Basketball Staff Update

The Central Penn College Men’s Basketball program has announced the hiring of Tramayne Hawthorne, Kenny Stone, and Wes Kirkland as assistant basketball coaches for the 2017-18 season. Hawthorne (Drexel 2009) was 2000-point scorer, and State Champion at Steel-High before heading to Drexel University to extend his playing career. Hawthorne played for defensive guru Bruiser Flint.

Louisville Approves 1-year, $800,000 Contract for Acting Head Coach David Padgett

The University of Louisville Athletic Association board has approved a one-year, $800,000 contract for Cardinals Acting Head Basketball Coach David Padgett in their meeting this morning. Padgett will receive a $400,000 base salary, and will earn an additional $400,000 from appearances. Other incentives that he could earn include: $25,000 if the team finishes the regular
