Chris Alesi has been named as the Director of Basketball Operations at Wagner as announced by head basketball coach Dan Hurley. Alesi replaces Scott Smith, who was recently promoted to assistant coach earlier this summer. Steve Schweer joins Todd Skrivseth’s men’s basketball staff at Monmouth (IL) for the 2011-12 season. The 2006 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University played on two NCAA Division III Sweet Sixteen teams and played in one Final Four. UNCP head men’s basketball coach Ben Miller has announced the addition of Ben Thompson to his coaching staff for the 2011-12 season.
