Concordia (NY) Coaching Change

Not sure what happened here but Joan Sanchez resigned the other day after one season as head coach. Sanchez was hired last summer and led the Clippers to an 8-19 record. His assistant Brian Sondey was named interim head coach. Prior to Concordia, Sondey was the head coach at the College of Westchester.

Nee hire made official

Danny Nee has been officially hired at Merchant Marine. Louisville assistant coach Ralph Willard is stepping down and will assume the position of Director of Basketball Operations. Nee to accept Merchant Marine job

Multiple sources have confirmed to me that veteran coach Danny Nee has accepted the Merchant Marine job. Nee was an assistant at Towson last season and has a 410-381 record in 26 seasons as a DI head coach at Ohio University (1981-86), Nebraska (1986-2000), Robert Morris (2000-01) and Duquesne (2001-06).
