A few things as we roll into Memorial Day Weekend… I can confirm that Hartwick College assistant coach David Wadas will become an assistant at Utica College. He had been on the Hartwick staff for the past three seasons, and also spent two seasons as an assistant at his alma mater Oneonta State. Word on
Siena Dirt…
HoopDirt.com can confirm that Davidson College DBO Abe Woldeslassie will become an assistant coach at Siena College. Woldeslassie has been on Bob McKillop’s staff since 2013. He has also been the DBO at Dartmouth, and an assistant at Bowdoin College. An official announcement is expected within the next few weeks.

Former Pitt assistant coach Bill Barton will become the next head coach at New England prep school powerhouse South Kent School. He will replace Kelvin Jefferson who became an assistant at Old Dominion last week. Barton had been on Jamie Dixon’s staff for the past five seasons, and has also worked at Marshall and Duquesne.

According to a report by ESPN, Canisius head basketball coach Jim Baron has retired. Baron has been at Canisius for the past four seasons where he has gone 73-61.
